Creative Portfolio

Photography, calligraphy, and design have been my creative outlets, each providing a way to observe, interpret, and shape the world around me. These practices allow me to weave together my experiences, culture, and imagination into visual stories that are both personal and impactful. Designing has taught me to craft cohesive visual narratives by balancing typography, layout, and imagery to create engaging experiences, while working on apps has refined my ability to merge form and function to enhance usability and bring joy to users. Photography has been a consistent thread in my creative journey, teaching me to see the world through patterns of light, shape, and movement. Experimenting with film and digital photography has helped me understand how small adjustments—whether in composition, contrast, or focus—can dramatically shift how a story is told. These lessons extend into my approach to design, where I strive to create experiences that are both thoughtful and visually striking.

Drawing Guide

My term project for my Fundamentals of Programming and Computer Science class was to create a edge/contour, highlight, and shadow detection software and to integrate it into a drawing tool that helps users create drawings from images.

Light painting has been one of my favorite ways to experiment with the interplay of motion and illumination. By using long-exposure photography, I can transform fleeting gestures into vibrant, abstract compositions that feel both dynamic and intentional. This process pushes me to think creatively about how light can be used as a tool for storytelling, shaping not only what is seen but also how it is perceived. Each session feels like a collaboration between spontaneity and control, resulting in images that capture the energy of the moment.
